Beefing over a what? Bounty Killer likes to be an instigator, but he also likes to make a point when a point needs to be made.  In this case, an event flyer for Mavado’s Birthday party was the source of Bounty’s complaint (spoken during a TV interview), because the size of the Reggae artists on the flyer (Beenieman, Bounty Killer, Lady Saw, etc.) were significantly smaller than the size of the Hip-hop artist, Ace Hood specifically.

Bounty followed up his point by issuing the first missile, a song dissing Mavado called “Flipover” on the Blurred Lines Riddim. Mavado (rumored to be coming to Toronto in March) shot back with his own song “Dem A Try Style Man”, stating that Bounty is just jealous of him since he (Mavado) is in foreign flossing up and making money. Busy Signal then threw in his own shot with “Real Talk” (King Majestic Riddim), taking sides with Bounty, and criticizing Mavado for being “ungrateful” because it was Bounty who buss him in the business therefore he should remember where he came from.
