Stepachoice_FNR_02.15.13 005Big Up Step-A-Choice Sound – hot off the heels of their Sound Rage victory!  They defeated rival Sounds Soul Survival, Lionheart and Ma Gash Intl. last Saturday night at Hickory House sweeping the ‘champion’ title yet again for the second year in a row.  For those of you asking…no, we did not book Step-A-Choice for Sound System Fridays after they won Sound Rage, we booked them weeks in advance, prior to their win.  Step-A-Choice was riding high and in a celebratory mood and that set the tone for the night.

Step-A-Choice came prepared – with a big crew (Itchy #1, Lumba G, Kirk, Ryan, Demolition Man and JMAX)…it was obvious once Itchy #1 (selector) arrived and Lumba G (MC) took the mic, that we were in for a treat on Sound System Fridays.  This show featured some nice ‘radio friendly’ dubs, decent MC’ing and smooth mixing, not to mention great live performances from Demo (Demolition Man – UK), Fire Lion (Canada) and Sadiki (Jamaica/America – courtesy of Innocent M1 Sound).  All three of these artists delivered entertaining performances that were flawless – nuff said!

The show was solid!  Everybody had lots of fun and the crew responded to my questions and criticisms very professionally.  Once again, Big Up Step-A-Choice – a decent job from a young Sound with a bright future!  Enjoy this podcast, it speaks for itself! Step-a-Choice_Sound_02.15.13
