Good thing Hurricane Sandy come and gone for nervous Toronto promoters and excited Reggae and Dancehall fans.  The BBM reports have been trickling in as flights arrive in the city from Jamaica and the U.S.A. with celebrities such as Marcia Griffiths, ZJ Liquid, Boom Boom & Tony Matterhorn (here last Sunday) and Stone Love as the weekend arrives and the nasty fall weather starts settling in.  ZJ Liquid (flying in today) is scheduled to perform at Taj Banquet Hall for the Blazer & Jeans event this coming Saturday alongside DJ Absolute, who flies in tomorrow after receiving his Visa.  Selector Bill Cosby has apparently touched ground as well, here to represent Jamaica’s Stone Love Sound at the Guvernment tomorrow night (Friday) for When Dance Did Nice.  Marcia Griffiths is also in town (I got a blast advertising Marcia in the studio voicing dub plates) this Friday to celebrate His Majesty’s Coronation at the JCA alongside DJ’s Twelve Tribe Sound, Soul-To-Soul, Afrikan Starr, Delroy G, King David and Puggy Simeon as well as performers Iley Dred, Jay Douglas, Tasha T., King Ujah, Donna Makeda, Fire Lion, Empress Devine, Jah Kettle and Gemini.  She’ll also perform this Saturday with Ammoye in Niagara Falls.  Chuck Fenda passes through mid-month on a mini Canadian Tour and a stage show schedule sees I-Wayne and Turbulance in concert with Afrikan Starr around the same time too.  Gyptian arrives at the end of the month.   Tings get heat up!
